While I’m writing I gotta say how bloodclaat terrible it is that Elephant Man is on Bad Boy.

Let Dub Island break it down for you.

Rap comes from Dancehall. Dancehall is the chicken and Hip Hop is the egg. So how is Puffy going to add anything to Dancehall? His flow on the track is just gross. It borderlines on disrespectful to Elephant.

Listen for your self. It’s weak. If Puffy was man enough to do it the foundation way, he’d voice some dubplates and clash with some big sounds. Then, once he won a few, he’d go to Jamaica and voice the records there. The money belongs there. Where the real art is.

Trust us. We rate Puffy for being a good business man and realizing Dancehall has a big place on the charts stateside.

However, it’d tek him years to put understand how to mek some real Reggae Riddims. Years he doesn’t have.

Do yourself a favor, when the Elephant/Bad Boy record drops, go buy an old Elephant Man record and send your money where it belongs…. Jamaica. Not SeanJohn.
